Sunday Chill = Christmas Tree / Valley Walk / Football On Sky

Aaron and I put our Christmas Tree up today. We emptied the loft clearing out a lot of things we don't need or use anymore. Aaron was so excited as I came across all my old Liverpool Football Club memorabilia form the 1970`s / 1980`s. I found my old football shirts which he is going to wear. All my old flags, programmes and many souvenirs from when Liverpool reached the cup finals during those years. I also found my autograph books, signed photographs of both Liverpool and Everton Footballers. We have Bob Paisley`s , Howard Kendal, and Bill Shankly. Aaron was over the moon looking through my collection.

After routing about we put up the tree. We have both found it difficult this year but after a chat this week we decided Daniel would want us to be happy and enjoy Christmas. So that is what we intend to do.

Later in the Afternoon after lunch, we went for a walk high up the hills over looking the village.

It was a beautiful sunny day. The views are breath taking. We find our walking very relaxing as well as the key to keeping fit and healthy. Fred also loves his walk. The Valley is such a beautiful place to live so very calm and chilled. Peace has now come back into our lives at last.

Liverpool FC v Arsenal FC
Later we settled down to watch the football match on super Sunday sky sports, in the warm by the fire.

Liverpool v Arsenal. I rang to cancel the sports channel but they offered it to us for FREE for the next year. Liverpool should have had a penalty in the first half, when Gerrard was fouled.
At half time they were 1 up.
Arsenal manged to score 2 during the second half. Liverpool ended up losing 2 - 1. We are now going to settle down to watch the final of X factor. The room is now lite up with the Christmas tree fairy lights, making it a very relaxing place to be. What a pleasant weekend we have had. Tomorrow is the start of a very busy week at work then it`s time for fun.
