Bala & Lake Vyrnwy May 2008

Aaron, Fred our dog & myself had a lovely day out with my partner Billy.
We had breakfast at Bala, then travelled via the back lanes to Lake Vyrnwy please visit the web site @ http://www.vyrnwy.co.uk/. We all went on a lovely walk to the falls at the top end of the lake before heading to the cafe and then a trip around the sculpture park. Aaron & Billy enjoyed playing on the adventure playground before we left for home.
Lake Vyrnwy supplies Liverpool with water and has a village underneath which was flooded when the reservoir was built.
