Beautiful Sky's

Sitting at the top of a hill can be a magical experience here in Wales. 

Looking at the countryside around you, rolling hills, clusters of tree`s, rambling brooks and many animals grazing near and far. Its just wonderful to see.

Taking time to chill, lay back and enjoy the sun setting in the sky towards the west. The colours are vibrant bright blue purples, light reds and baby pinks. 

The sun then reaches the horizon and tipples over the edge of the far away mountains away to the other side of the world. 

As the darkness falls around you the last light of the day sends quivers through your body as you look out, seeing the shadows spring to life as the water ripples before you. 

Dancing figure`s are wild in the woodland clusters. A fox comes up from its den takes a huge yawn, as this is his daytime whilst we sleep. He wander`s off looking for some food. 

The tweeting of the birds as they settle for the night, the chirping makes you feel as if they are arguing, squabbling for room in the nest. 

Spring time is coming our way. 

The chicken coups are bustling as the hens head in to roost, safely in their houses. A slam of a hen house door keeps them safe in the houses for the night time as it comes forth.

A shiver comes over your body as the temperature drops after the setting of the sun. Its time to leave and head in doors another day is done. 

Next time you see darkness start to fall after a crisp sunny day take a moment or two and head outside. 

Look into the sky, take a deep breath. You will see how lucky you are to be alive.

Mystic Skies

50 Shades Of Grey - Cinema Review

Well this is a controversial film, after reading the books I just had to go and see it.

The film is about a billionaire Christian Grey a messed up stud muffin who is into the naughties when it comes to his sexual world.
He meets a young college graduate Anastasia Steel. Then the story begins.
I went and watched this film with Simon and my friend Helen.
To my surprise  the cinema was quite quite and there was a handful of men glued to the big screen just has we girls were.
We all really enjoyed the film, I don't want to give any spoilers away.
I will say a few things about it though. The film is more of a love story than the bondage freak film everyone keeps talking about.
To rate it along side domestic violence is just a load of rubbish. Domestic violence is when you don't agree to be hit by your partner and they beat the crap out of you without your consent.
Christen Greys red room is more about sexual pleasure than beating his partner. It's about control with consent.
Alas Anastasia soon put Christen in his place when he goes to far.
We all enjoyed the film and I wouldn't be surprised to see a least one other 50 Shades film coming out in the future.
We give it 7 out of 10 once you have seen it you have seen it.
It's well worth a visit to the flicks

Valentine's Day
Is a wonderful way
To make "I love you"
Easy to say.

Love comes through the eyes that see

For people are quite beautiful,

And words make feelings clear.

Love comes through the hands that touch

With unabashed affection,

For only skin-to-skin can love

Maintain its true direction.

Love comes through the tastes and smells

Of fresh and well-cooked food,

For in the gift of nourishment

Is much else that is good.

But though love comes through senses five,

Love comes from the heart,

For there resides the greater love

Of which ours is a part.

HAVE A FANTASTIC DAY 

Well I do hope you have all woken today with a lovely present from your loved one. I certainly have with a lovely box of yummy chocolates and a designer pen in a little case, which I can use in my writing journalist course ( I must say I am up to module 7 now over half way through. ) Really exciting at this new venture of mine. 

The card I received brought a little tear to my eye. 

We have got a lot to look forward to this year. like a trip away somewhere I have always wanted to go. Lots of concerts booked. Lots of days out to look forward to.  I can't  spill the beans on any of it as it would spoil the surprise for another blog entry. 

Our house is full of love and affection a great place to be these days. Today is a very special day for us, Simon and I have been together for many years now. Its been a tough ride with Simon being diagnosed with cancer early in our relationship. The main thing though is we stick together like glue. Riding the storm together. Life is great for us despite the little misgivings of a disease called cancer. We live each day as it comes with so much to look forward to. I am so happy to have found a special person to spend my life with. The house is full of laughter its not a place for depression anymore. My two angels I always feel are with me, they are at home here safe in the walls of this home.

Today is also a special day for us a double celebration. Aaron is spreading his wings and is about to fly. I am so proud of him. All will be revealed later today with regards to Aaron.  He is on a course at this very moment learning yet another skill.

He has done some of his GCSE`s all ready passing with A*  Maths and distinctions in IT, the rest of his exams in the coming months.  His last school report was amazing A`s, * and levels 1 throughout . There wasn't a bad word said about him a modal pupil. It nice to know I have brought up a very confident, outgoing child. 

The world is his oyster. His aim is to go into medicine eventually. He has spoken to Oxford university already, so only time will tell of what will become of that. His achievements to date are amazing. 

This is one son that would make any parent proud of.

Anyway watch this space for an announcement later today. I think the tears will flow later with happiness not sadness anymore. I think a toast and a take away later will be a fitting treat for this occasion.
