Clwyd Theatr Cymru ROBIN HOOD AND THE BABES IN THE WOOD Panto Trip

Robin Hood And The Babes In The Wood

What a fantastic trip out today we had, a visit to see the Clwyd Theatr Cymru Christmas Panto Robin Hood And The Babes In The Wood.

This magical adventure story charts Robin Hood’s attempts to outwit the evil Sheriff of Nottingham, free the unfortunate Babes and their outrageous Nanny, Nellie Nightnurse, and marry the beautiful Maid Marion.

The result is a fast and furious musical version of this traditional tale, designed to delight all the family.A talented cast of actor/musicians serve up over twenty rock and soul classic songs including The Hippy Hippy Shake, I Shot the Sheriff, Girls Just Want To Have Fun, Kiss,

I Can’t Help Myself, I Would Walk 500 Miles, Signed, Sealed, Delivered and many, many more. Classic entertainment which combines the best live music with all the fun of traditional panto to create the perfect Christmas show!

I was KS1 today. Aaron sat next to Mr Parkison. Nanny Nellie Nightnurse came off the stage looking for a victim. Aaron frantically pointed to Mr P. Nellie came straight across. We had front seat rows for this show. Nellie made a show of Mr P. Sarah and I along with the rest of the staff couldn't`t stop laughing. Nanny Nellie flapped her boobs in Mr P face had him up for a dance and sat on his knee. As usual Mr P was a sport giving as good as he got back. Sarah an I were in stitches.
We all had a wonderful time clapping, rocking and singing along to this spectacular panto. All to soon it was over, boarding the bus with the children, we looked at all the fairy lights on the way back. I love my job being able to watch all our lovely children that come to kids club and our school having a wonderful time with lots of smiles and laughter.
