Delamere Forest Cheshire

Battling the element`s of a snow storm, we headed to the Wirral. After visiting the grave to put Nana`s 80Th Birthday Roses on for the boys, we headed to Aunt Murial`s to drop Nana off. After a quick cuppa Aaron and I headed to Delamere Forest in Cheshire.
It has been many years since I visited the forest. I soon found my way as the memories of the many years I lived in Cheshire came flooding back.
We parked up in one of the main car parks. A light dusting of snow covered the ground. Fred was having a freak out yapping away. He ran wild and free as we walked along the paths following the yellow route.
We walked to some time before heading down to one of the lower paths to walk back to the car. The sky was getting dark looking as though bad weather was approaching.
Whistling Fred to keep him close, he never wanders to far when we are away from the house. This day though was an exception. Whistling he never came back, 20 minutes went by nothing he had vanished I stayed in the same area i last saw him. Aaron wandered further up the path, shouting for Fred. Next I heard Aaron telling his naughty pet off.
As he got closer to me he knew he was in big trouble. He got a good telling off. God knows what anyone must have thought who was walking by as I told our naughty pet cocker spaniel off.
We were still deep in the forest when the Sky's opened with a very heavy snow storm. We walked back with Fred not leaving our sides all the way, I think he panicked himself a bit at getting himself lost. Heading home again we battled the elements of the weather. Hot coco was called for to warm us up once we got home. Below are our photogrpahs.

Shagger Drag Queen Night Out

Saturday night saw Helen and I meeting up with the girls from school at the Green Inn Llangedwyn. Shagger the drag queen was performing. This act is highly recommended by lots of people around Mid and North Wales.
We managed to find some seats. Sitting huddled in the corner. The pub was getting quite full with many familiar faces some of which I haven't seen for a long time. Lots of people came over to say Hello some giving me a hug. Everyone Knows how much of a bad time I have had for many many years. Nights like this I realise how lucky I am to live in an area were there are so many caring people.
Well the show started a 6ft 4" plus Drag Queen appeared. Dressed in lycra trousers with added extra`s, a tight fitting leather PVC dress, a huge head of wigged hair and foot tall high heeled wedge knee length lace up boots. Make up and false eye lashes to die for.
My God I have never seen anything like it. He was frightening.
He layed into anyone that moved most of it I cant put on here, but we were in hysterics all night. He was also doing Karaoke with anyone who was brave enough to have a go. He got Clive and Mostyn up along with Gaz and his brother. He made a real show of them all.
Helen and I were to petrified to move. At one point we ran to the loo whilst he wasn't looking sneaking back out on maneuvers to get back to our seats. Whilst he was occupied with the karaoke I decided to be brave enough the go to the bar for our drinks. Coke on Ice.
Then I heard the clip clop of the high heeled boots turning round Shaggerada was towering above me. He said Hello. The look of terror on my face said it all as he gave me a wink and strutted off back to the main area.
At one point he picked on Mechanic John who ended up hiding behind me, he also had a go at poor Lugi who had just turned 18. He had a go at Sarah who ran into the ladies toilet unfortunately he started on her sister insisting she was a drag queen trying to take her wig off, she took it in her stride thankfully.
The show was brilliant he was amazing but terrifying the look at. Time went so very quickly we left near 1am with the show still going on. We are defiantly going to see him again someday.

Mad Sleep Over - Lads At Ty Mawr Country Park

Friday night after school a gang of lads came back home with Aaron.
Adam, Rhys and Josh.
They all decided they wanted to have a mad sleep over.
For a treat we went to Llanffylin to pick up some chips and sausage for tea. Whilst there we also got some crisps and chocolate for later in the evening.
The boys enjoyed a night of playing games and watching DVD`s.
They were all well behaved.

TY MAWR COUNTRY PARK
The next day, we all set off out for a walk with Fred the dog. We headed to Ty Mawr country park Cern Mawr.
The ground had a covering of snow. We headed on the Aqua Duct walk down onto the bottom path along the side of the River Dee. The boy`s had a great time running in the fields, along the paths, playing hide and seek in the bushes and climbing tree`s. Reaching the Aqua Duct we turned and headed back along the path. It was a lovely walk we all enjoyed it. We saw animals in the paddocks whilst heading back. Then the boys rushed off to the park to play for a while. Below are some of the taken along our walk.
