Speke Hall Liverpool

Speke Hall was a lovely day out. The hall is a fantastic old building. At national trust properties you are unable to take photograph's. The inside of this building is beautiful.
The house is set on the banks of the Mersey close to the airport. You can hear the planes roar down the runway, there is also a viewing point to watch the planes.
Inside the house it is beautifully set out enriched with beautiful antique furniture and restored wallpaper and furniture. Speke Hall is well worth a visit.
After leaving we headed for the Wirral stopping at the boys grave were we placed some yellow roses. Next stop was Parkgate were we sat down to a lovely carvery before heading home.
