Rhiwargor Falls : Walk On The Wildside

The Rhiwargor Trail is approx half way around Lake Vyrnwy form the Dam. For those of you that do not no where Lake Vyrnwy is, it is situated in Mid Wales, Powys approximately twenty miles form the Shropshire Welsh Boarder Town of Oswestry. The lake is man made it flooded the village of Llanwyddn which was relocated further up the valley.
The Rhiwargor Trail takes you through some of the most beautiful wide Welsh wilderness with spectacular mountain views. A walk alongside the river, along grassy tracks, across dainty wooden bridges, also across stepping stones, to reach a breathtaking waterfall. Tucked away nicely within the wilderness a true fairy glen.
The walk is not strenuous its an easy walk with small inclines. There are plenty of stones to sit on along the way. If you take your dog like I did remember to make sure he or she is under control as there are many sheep along the way.
A lovely walk for a pleasant Sunday morning. Grid reference SH963240.  A recommended walk. Wellies may be required if its been raining.
