A trip to Tenerife is not complete without a visit to see this spectacular Volcano Teide. The volcanic landscape surrounding this volcano is incredibly beautiful and very different from what you will see elsewhere. The only way I can describe it is it is like walking on the moon. Many scenes from movies have been filmed up here. These include Clash Of The Titans and Planet of the Apes. I was sorry to hear that we had just missed Vin Diesel who had been up on the mountains filming fast and furious 6 only a few days before. Pretty gutted at missing that !
