Mysical Night The Story Of King Aurthur Llanymynech 09

PENDRAGON
THE STORY OF KING ARTHUR
What a lovely evening out we all had in the village of Llanymynech on the Shropshire / Welsh boarder.
The role play theatre workshop performed the story of the legendary king.
The story told by Merlin the magical wizard, the life of King Arthur.
From the days of his childhood to how he grew into a fine king after pulling the sword for the rock.
The story went on through drama and song backed by musical instruments and lighting to enhance the mood.
The live music was played from Pendragon.
The event was held in the village hall. It was in aid of the Severn Hospice with all proceeds from the nights entertainment going to the good cause.
The local businesses all played a part in helping the event by giving or sending in a prize for the raffle, all the business that thrive within the village of Llanymynech donated something. This shows the spirit of the community which is held in all the villages throughout the boarders of Shropshire and Wales. All the villages are friendly and supportive of worth while causes.
The played had some wonderful sing and clap along songs. Which had Aaron singing away he new most of the words along with the cast on stage.
The story went on to tell us about the knights of the round table, Camelot, Sir Lancelot and Queen Ginevra.
It was a very different but very enjoyable night out. On the way hope we took a detour up to Llanfyllin for some chips for supper. In Llanfyllin we met up with the valley run and loads of people we new. As we left they all waved to us.
For more info on King Arthur type in King Arthur on google. This brings up the story plus lots to entertain the children.
