Rainbow Army Llangedwyn Church Sunday School

A new group has been formed over the last few months for the children of Llangedwyn and surrounding villages. The group has been formed by a lovely lady called Helen, she has asked me to help out when the group meets.
The group is connected to Llangedwyn Church as is sort of a Sunday School. On 1 out of 4 Sundays the church holds a family service.
Lots of children come to this along with their parents, guardians or grandparents.
Last Sunday Helen organised the service around Lent. The children all came to the front of the church. I help Helen, we had work sheets to do with saying sorry. Some of the children performed a little play which we had precised in after school club in went very well. The play was about Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden, how Eve took a bite from an apple encouraged by the devil disused as a serpent.
Aaron narrated the story and also did a reading in front of the congregation. He is excellent at speaking / reading in public encouraged by the school at Llangedwyn which he has attended since he was born first starting at playgroup at a few weeks old along with his brother Daniel.
The service went well and the younger children really enjoyed the activities on offer.
The group is also going to meet now and then during the holidays for fun times and day trips out. Anyone in the local community or surrounding area`s who would like their child /ren to attend please don't hesitate to contact me and I will pass you over to Helen.
