Recently we headed to Liverpool to see the Battle of the Atlantic Display. The event was a commemorating the 70th anniversary of The Battle Of The Atlantic. There was a whole host of events to explore with many events on the River Mersey itself. Naval vessels form around the world including Europe, Russia, Canada and America visited Liverpool to take part in this event. This was the final time this event was to be commemorated.
The event was organised by the Mersey Ferries www.merseyferries.co.uk .
I have fond memories of the Ferry Boats form my childhood. I still love to visit the promenade where I spent many hours as a child.
Today we took Nana Dotty with us in her wheelchair. It was very busy and tiring but still we enjoyed the day.
