Doggy Paradise - Lake District

Recently I was reading an article about holidays with you dog. Some dogs get distressed leaving them behind especially when sent into kennels. My dog was ill treated and kept in a kennel. Therefore kennels is not an option he either comes with us or is cared for in our own home.
The article was about doggy paradise for dogs and dog lovers in Cumbria Lake District. The Lakes is one of the most beautiful parks of the UK with plenty of walks for you and your pet.
I thought I would share this information.
Best villages for walks etc NR Buttermere and Cockermouth. Many Trails have been well maintained. So owned by National Trust.
Dog owners and walkers need to be aware that you need to follow the country code at all time to the livestock especially the sheep. Below is a link to learn about the countryside rules. http://www.countrysideaccess.gov.uk/things_to_know/countryside_code
