Daffodils at the Derwen

The Derwen special needs college is base just on the outskirts of Oswestry. This is a lovely place to visit if you have an afternoon or morning free.
I have not been here since Daniel died, so I was very surprised at how much it had changed.
There is much to offer at the Derwen delightful coffee shops, where you can enjoy lovely cheap lunches. Art gallery, farm shop and a lovely garden centre with lovely special gifts.
There is also a lovely woodland walk which was just in the process of sprouting this years daffodils. At the end or the beginning of the walk depending which path you take there is a small animal petting farm.
I can recommend the Derwen for many things, the food, the gifts, the bread ( lovely ) and the many planets it has for sale. A good place for finding unique gifts made by the students. Remember when visiting the Derwen, you are supporting the students with there learning skills. What a lovely place.
