Mold Food Festival September 201I

Wow it has been a while since I have had time to blog  much has happened since then. With winter coming I am hoping to have more time to catch up with my blogs.  I look forward to sharing some fantastic times over this last summer with you all.  Lets face it, it has been a blast.
This blog is all about Mold Food Festival which took place on 17 + 18 of September 2016.

Well guess what I won these tickets, she types with a smile.

The festival on entering I first thought was quite small, but hay ho as we wandered around it seemed to just get bigger and bigger. This was quite surprising it was on a little car park, it was a bit like entering Dr Who`s Tardis.

Being a vegetarian with attitude is was a little difficult finding the tip bits for sampling, but the boys had a whale of a time tucking in to all-sorts of food from all over the world. It wasn't long before I found the yummy bits I liked.  Chocolate, I was in heaven.

It was a fabulous few hours out and about. The food was amazing along with the drinks. Many a fruit / veg juice drink mix, you would never think of putting together. The food was displayed so very well.

There was lots to see and do there. Celebrity chefs, local demonstrations, an interactive zone and a cookery theatre.

There was also a music stage, we did sit down whilst eating lunch listening to Jim Bazley playing his guitar. We really enjoyed his set. The rest of the time we wandered around with the music playing in the background.

Thinking about my favourite stalls, well overall they where all good. The ones that tended to stand out to me where the cheese and pickle stalls. There was every cheese you could think of mixed with many a delight to tang with your taste buds. The raspberry lemonade was also nice and of course the chocolate.

Thank you Mold food festival for a lovely time and of course the Wrexham Leader for picking me out as the winner of the family ticket.  One happy winner.
