Liverpool Sight Seeing & Shopping

Recently Simon and I sent a couple of days in Liverpool. Having grew up just across the water, I enjoyed showing Simon who is a born and bred Shropshire lad the famous sights of the city of Liverpool. It was perfect timing as Aaron was away with the scouts on operation Commando. This is were the scouts are put on a mission to make there way across fields, forests and muddy ditches hiding from the explorers who are hot on there tail. Aaron had a great time came home from his mission very muddy.
We stayed in a hotel close to Albert dock. From here we visited the Maritime Museum and the Tate Gallery.
We also went on a cruise across the Mersey on the famous Ferry Boats.
After a romantic meal in the evening, Simon and I took to the sky's, we went on a ride on the big wheel which overlooks the city of Liverpool and the Wirral coast line. It was a spectacular sight.
We also took a stroll to the Cavern Club famous because of the Beatles, who sang there during there early days before they became famous.
We also had a good time wandering around the shops, picking up some excellent bargains and early Christmas presents.
I was treated like a princess all the time whilst away. I have to pinch myself sometimes to make sure Simon is real and not part of a dream.
We had a wonderful time, cant wait for our next adventure.
