Burscough

Whilst on a recent visit to Southport we visited Burscough set on the banks of the canal we wandered down the high street. We found a lovely little cafe down a side street were we had brunch.
Finishing our meal we headed towards the canal wharf a recent shop complex. Simon and Aaron found a lovely old sweet shop. That was it I lost them both in there for a long while ! They gazed longingly towards all the old sweetie jars. Despite my protests of rotten teeth, they picked the sweets they wanted. Coming out with a bag full they were both grinning from ear to ear.
As you can see from the photo`s below if your ever in Burscough the hidden away little sweetie shop set by the canal is well worth a visit. You step back in time into the world of the old sweets.
