Carrying on along the river we headed to the Ara Pacis Museum. Inside both past and present collide. It was a interesting museum, we stayed for some time. Unfortunately you are not allowed to take photographs in here.We walked pasted the Mausoleo Augusto this building in now closed to the public due to it being dangerous. Hopefully one day it will be restored to its former glory.
Moving on we headed to Piazza del Popoio. This is a big city square known for the to temple which stand either side of the road. There was an event here today about power. We wandered around the information stands. Before heading to the ice cream parlour and then for tea as the darkness drew nearer.
