Aqua Jets ( Seadoos )

This was a wonderful experience for Aaron. He whizzed around the pool accelerating the aqua jets into the rapid area of the swimming pool. As you can see from the smiles, he had a great time.

Coastal Walk Pwhelli

Whilst away we enjoyed a coastal walk along the small cliffs along the Pwhelli coast line. Here are some of the photographs.

Water Walkerz

This was fun Aaron experienced the Water Walkers. Walking across water in a huge hamster ball. Fantastic.

TY Canoloesol Penarth Fawr Medieval House

The Medieval House is set in the wild wilderness of the Llyn Peninsula NR Pwllheli. It is own by CADW. To get to it you have to follow a narrow lane. Opening out higher up the valley you come across a very old but well preserved house.
We parked up and had a wander around the sheep with their new born lambs were very inquisitive and came over to take a look at us.
The house itself was interesting Aaron and I explored our surrounding a ladder lead up stairs and another lead into the basement of the building.
Aaron and I really enjoy exploring these old houses this year with my CADW membership we will be able to enter any English Heritage site free of charge. Joys of living in Wales and all the benefits that come from it. Wales looks after it`s own along with the history within it.

Aaron and I intend to do a lot of travelling this year, visiting many places around the country and throughout Wales. Being on our own me beign a single mum offers the opportunity to do as we please. I have been let down by many people throughout my past especially by men. I have vowed never to let another man ever get close to me again. The last one was just a deceitful liar who hid a dark side to his personality. He failed me and let me down completely. I have now been given the name the Ice Queen by some of my friends. When it comes to men that what I am now man made cold as ice with a massive iceberg around me to protect myself and my son from evil that is out there.
Anyway coming off my soap box, Aaron and I are looking fwd to the months ahead with many trips and adventures planned already. We certainly wont be sitting at home festering, not allowed to live a life for yourself and growing old without living life to the full.

Abersoch, Lleyn Peninsula

Abersoch is on the Lleyn Peninsula, it is a small fishing village. Abersoch is also a very popular place for people who enjoy various types of water sport including power boats, water skiing and jet ski`s.
It`s a very pretty village. Aaron and I wandered around the shops and the harbour. We had a lovely cup of hot chocolate in the local cafe to warm us up.
Below are some of the photographs of the village.

Spring Time In Powys

Spring has arrived in Powys Mid Wales, all around us are the familiar sounds of the up and coming season. The weather is at last warming up and the sunshine warms the air around.
Behind our home and in many fields across the valley the little lambs are starting to appear. You can see them bouncing across the field`s snow white coats of cotton wool bobbing before your eyes. It is a wonderful site to see.
If you stop and listen the sounds of the chirping birds fill the spring air. The rustling in the eves of the house give way to the small whimpers of the baby birds.
Tractors are again out and about in the field were the grass is starting to grow and the spring flowers are budding through the soil.
The dark nights are drifting away as the days draw longer.
Each season living in the wonderful countryside of Wales has a unique way of with holding the beauty that surrounds us.
Spring is surely one of my favourite times of the years as nothing can beat the site of the tiny new born lamb`s bounding around our home. There is nothing more relaxing than watching and listening to the sound of spring.
This year is proving to be a turning point in our lives with many new adventures ahead of us. We have so much to now look forward to.

Mother`s Day In Chester

Mother`s day saw us heading out early. It was always going to be a hard day as my baby son Callum died Mother`s day 14 yrs ago.
David ( Aaron`s dad ) and I decided it would be nice to visit the grave of our children together, we have not done this for many years, so it was a pleasant change. It has been nice to be able to put our differences aside, and to be able to talk.
After picking David up the three of us headed to Chirk car boot. Here I got a wonderful book about the gypsy`s of old. I am thrilled with it. After a coffee at McDonald's we headed off through Chester.
Reaching the grave we placed some flowers on along with a pot of Daffodils for our lost children.

Next we headed off up to Chester. Parking up we headed for a walk around the Walls and the shops. We had lunch out side a little pasty shop. Later heading back we walked through the roman gardens and along the river.
For once we had a pleasant day out and didn't even argue once. It`s a miracle.
