Strolling Along : The Briw

Mid Wales is such an amazing place to live particularly in the Tanat Valley area. The views around the area are just fantastic, whatever the season. Suppose my favourite time of the year has to be spring. Spring is the time for new beginnings and new life. Its a time the flowers start to bus and flower. As the sun begins to shine the world wakes up around us from the harshness of the passing winter. There is nothing more lovely to see than spring lambs bouncing around the countryside, just one of the joys with living in the countryside. A breath of fresh air. 

The Hunting Walk : Chirk

This is a lovely walk of about 1 and 1/4 miles. Its a steady stroll, a very easy walk. During this time of the year the hunting ground walk in Chirk is very beautiful. The ground is a mass of bluebells. Today we bumped into the two wild welsh ponies, although they did come over for a pat. We wandered across the field with the old roman road running through the middle and on towards the front field of the castle where the medieval black sheep are grazing. Today was a lovely day.
