Saint Fiachra`s Gardens - Kildare

St Fiachra`s Garden is the patron Saint of Gardeners. St Friachra was a 6th century monk, born about the year 590 of noble birth in North Connacht. He was Honoured by the French as the patron saint of Gardeners after his death in 670 A.D.
Saint Fiachra`s garden takes you on a journey of traditional Irish garden over stone bridges, woodland walks monastic cells, and Waterford crystal gardens. Within the garden there is a natural spring where we found a herring looking for lunch.
This garden is extremely relaxing within a haven of wildlife.
