The Rhiwargor Trail is set at the far end of lake Vrynwy.
You can follow the trail along the river bank which over looks the surrounding mountain and hill range.
This time of the year the autumn colours are quite spectacular. They range from bronze golden brown to orange to lovely yellows.
Sheep graze within the boundaries so dogs must be kept on a lead.
Today we took a picnic with us of cheesy sandwiches, crisps, doughnut's followed by steaming hot chocolate.
With our dogs under control we set off opening the safety style gates heading along the trail.
The path eventually leads after crossing a bridge to a beautiful staggered waterfall.
Here we stopped off whilst Fred had a paddle.
We walked back along the forest path before heading back across river bridge to where Larry The Landrover was parked.
On the way back we took a few photographs of Lake Vrynwy on this glorious autumn day. Please enjoy them.
