This is a exceptional walk, fascinating from the moment you set off. Known locally as Llanymynech Rocks,the area was quarried for its limestone until the 1930`s.
Now the area is a delightful nature reserve. The path follows the story of the stone, through the quarry, down a steep tramway, were you reach the huge restored Kiln in the valley below.

The walk covers approx 2 1/2 miles and is a circular walk. Taking you along paths, across fields, along the canal tow path and heading back up the lanes. Simon and I had a lovely time on this walk with our dogs Fred & Reggie.
