Lake Vyrnwy Sponsered Bike Ride & Walk
This weekend saw us heading to Lake Vrnywy for a sponsered bike ride and walk. Lots of children and some adults headed around the lake on their bicycles. They were followed by support cars that picked up the casualties along the way.

Swallow`s

What joy it is to live in such a beautiful part of the country when you have views like this. The swallow`s that nest at our house are back for thier yearly visit. They nest above the back entrance to our home.
Today I have had to pick them up out of the kitchen, as soon as the back door is opened they fly in.
This are very beautiful birds and have nested here for many years.

Wirral Country Park
I took my new car for a drive at weekend to drop Nana back off at her sisters on the Wirral. We had Sunday at the Quay in Parkgate. Visited Daniel and Callums grave.
Later we took Fred our dog for a walk at the Wirral County he was on his lead because of the cliffs. We had a lovely walk along the paths then onto the beach before heading back up the cliffs onto the path back to the car.
It was the first time I have put my new 7 seater diesel through its paces didn't it go well. 50 to the gallon whilst being thrashed cant be bad. This car is by far the best I have ever driven I defiantly picked the right one thanks Hattie and Dave for helping me.
PS Dave still got a new toy its comining Sunday. Wellies at the ready and a winch.

Bluebell Walk
This time of year the valley is awash with flowers and young livestock. At present there are masses of Bluebell`s in the wood`s. Its so very beautiful and picturesque at the moment. The small herd of young heifers picture below are always happy to see us when we take Fred our dog for a walk.
Below are also the photo`s of the Bluebell woods. The valley is such a beautiful place to live nothing can compare with such wonderful relaxing views and such beauty.

Relections
We had a wonderful evening out last Friday. It was Clare`s 25th birthday. A group of us from the valley hired a mini bus.We first went around the pubs in Shrewsbury there were a few bands on, before we headed to an 80`s club NR the Welsh Bridge. We had a wonderful time they all took the mick out of me as a lad latched in to me and wouldn't let go. He didn't want me to leave when the bus came to pick us up but i was glad to escape.
Later that evening I had another encounter that shocked me.
It was the best night out I have had in years. I don't drink a lot as getting drunk is not for me. More of a party girl that likes to dance the night away.

Bank Holiday Weekend - Car Hunt & Ellesmere
Bank Holiday weekend was very busy. Our friends from Birmingham came to stay, Hattie and Dave. They came along in their huge Mercedes Motor home. We had a lovely weekend, we went out for a meal, went to the car boots and looked for a new car for me. By the end of the weekend I was completely shattered. We eventually found the car I wanted so I struck a deal with the guy that was selling it to pick it up during the week.
During the weekend Aaron also did his grading ( blog above ).
We also visited Ellesmere Lake. Here we had a cream tea and a walk around the lake with Fred. The photographs are below.
