These are some lovely pictures I took on a recent visit to Powis Castle. The castle is home to a number of peacocks. A beautiful male with luscious colouring. There is also three peahens that I have seen. The peacocks and peahens were out and about so I was lucky enough to take these lovely photographs of them.
Powis castle is beautiful, steeped in history with well established gardens. The gardens are tiered. The views from the terrace are outstanding. A visit is a must if you are anywhere near the quant town of Welshpool.
