Walking through town recently we came across this imprint on a shop window. The shop had shut down. It was quite fascinating to see. Quite a few people had stopped to take a look. At First we thought the bird had hit the window from the inside but the imprint was on the out side. The poor bird must have slammed into the window at some speed to make such a mark. There was no sign of a body so hopefully the bird was ok. The imprint is remarkable an exact replica with much detail as you can see.
