Powis Castle Easter Trail

A beautiful sunny Easter Day saw us heading to Powis Castle to follow the Easter Egg Trail. Aaron loves history and adventure like his mum, so being members of the National Trust, living in this area offers many special days out. Powis castle now has different parts of it open to the castle, the trust also has special themed days offering children the chance to participate in trails and quiz's. Today was no exception.
Aaron took hold of his sheets and started off around the gardens looking for clues and answering questions.
Today we go the chance to got up to he top terrace, the views were fantastic of the surrounding countryside and the town of Welshpool.
Aaron completed the sheets in really good time and received a prize of an Easter Egg.
Afterwards we headed up to the castle and the tea rooms before heading home going shopping on the way back.
