There is nothing more fun than an old fashioned Easter egg hunt. Firstly we had a little get together at home then off we trotted on a hunt for chocolate eggs. First we did a practice one at home then it was off down to the woods for a real treasure hunt with the golden treasure being chocolate.
Young and old we all had a fab time including the dog.
Its so easy to do all you need is numbers on the eggs and the kids have a number each which matches the numbers on the eggs. This stops any fighting as they have to match the numbers to gain the prize.
Easter egg hunts don't have to be just for Easter why not try a treasure hunt with the children you don't need a huge amount of space you can even play this game in your house. All you need is a good hiding place. It will keep those little ones occupied for a while.
