The Tall Ships - Dublin

How Lucky were we, to be visiting Dublin the same time as the magnificent Tall Ships. I have only ever seen these once before when they visited Liverpool when I was a child. The are a fantastic sight as you can see below.  The place was very packed. We walked firstly across Sean O`Casey Bridge along the city Quay and back over Beckett Bridge along N.Wall Quay towards Custom House Quay. There was live music on St George`s Dock which added to the delightful atmosphere.
Today was to be our final day in Ireland so we headed to the Hard Rock Cafe for a treat for tea before catching the late ferry back to Holyhead. We had left the car outside Dublin, catching the tram system in called Luas. This was much better than trying to park in the city and very easy to manage if it had not been so packed. The ferry crossing home was uneventful. Ireland was a great place to visit which we all enjoyed.
