Ennis

Whilst In Ireland we visited the little town of Ennis. The town takes its name  from " Inis ", meaning an island which was formed between two streams of the River Fergus. The history of Ennis is intimately linked with that of the O`Brien family, descendants of Brian Boru.
Ennis is also associated with some of the great political leaders of the past.
Ennis has pretty narrow streets which holds many tales of the past.
Whilst in Ennis we also visited the Clare Museum. The museum is filled with many items from around the county of Clare and well worth a visit if your ever there. It is only small but has many items of great interest from the past.
