Roden Dogs Trust Home for Dog Fun Day & Car Boot

Recently Aaron & I had a wonderful day out with Helen, Jez and my beautiful god children Abbey and Conner.
Roden dogs home were having a dog show, fun day and car boot. We headed off to Shrewsbury in the morning using my new car as it has 7 seats so there was no need to take two cars, everyone got in with room to spare, we still had room for the buggy and all the stuff we got from car boot ?
The fun day was in aid of the dogs. We strolled around the stalls and car boot. We all were pleased with our swag.
next we headed off to the kennels, there was a wide range of dogs some in a sorry state. One was NR skin and bone, another had had an elastic band place round its neck. the band had became embedded in his flesh, the poor dog was recovering slowly thankful. She was an German Shepard sent down to Roden from Leeds. People can be so cruel.
Heading back to the show ground we wandered again around some of the stalls then sat and watched the dog`s int eh arena.
It was a bit windy bit the wind kept off. As the children got tired we headed back to the car.
